Does anyone that plans on taking pics outside on the day of their wedding have a back up plan in case of rain?? I hate to be a downer, but I want to have everything covered. If you do, where do u plan to take them?? TIA

Inside
We're getting married at the East Wind so we'll have to take pics inside the Estate and the Inn. But it's not going to rain ...

Our wedding is in March so I'm really not counting on pics outside! Luckily, Fox Hollow and the Inn are beautiful inside too!

There is a photography studio inside at Westbury Manor, and other nice places inside. I would even take some pics outside in the rain with a big umbrella.

I plan on having my wedding outside. I have a backup plan for the ceremony in the event of rain, but I never thought about the pics. I will probably use an umbrella for some, and make arrangements with East Wind for a rain contingency plan for photos. But then again, it isn't going to rain.

Even if it does rain, you can always take pics like these!!

We aren't stopping anywhere in between the ceremony and the reception. So if it rains or not, we are taking pics inside the Church and inside the hall.

It poured so much on our wedding day that we couldn't even take any cute ones in the rain. We took them inside Timber Point infront of a roaring fire

We're also getting married at East Wind so if it rains, I'm guessing we'll take our pics inside the Inn or the Estate. But it's not going to rain!!

We took our pics at OWB so if it rains they let you use an atrium room that they have.

It's simply not allowed to rain on any of our wedding days!

I also have a 'Just in case' file of rainy day pix- Assuming its not torrential downpours, I think these are kind of romantic!

We secured the Vanderbilt Museam as our backup plan. It is extra $$ to secure the inside so we did. If it rains we will do the majority of the pics there - if not we can go in or out.

We are going to the Holtsville ecology center. Even if it doesn't rain, there is no foliage outside on April 1st.
