i keep wondering when my shower will be.. (mom and FMIL have it covered, that much i know) but i havent overheard any details or anything yet and i usually do get some kind of hint by now if a surprise is coming.. lol. i dont do well with surprises though if i already know one is coming.. i am bad and keep looking at my registries, but nothing is being taken off besides the stuff i already knew about. i know im being stupid but i cant help it... i cant wait for the shower, ive been so stressed out lately... is anyone else in the same boat here? my wedding is 86 days away, what are these people waiting for?!

It has to be coming soon, right? With all the stress of wedding planning, the shower is 1 thing u can really look forward to...U R not being stupid.

Aww....it's probably coming soon, don't stress. At least they have been able to keep it a secret and hush hush. Maybe right after the holidays you'll have it. Or maybe people are just waiting until last minute to buy the gifts. You know how crazy things get at this time of the year. Is your mom and FMIL old fashion? Cause my mom was saying something about 4 weeks before the wedding, because that was when she had hers (38 YEARS AGO!). IDK...just throwing stuff out there. Keep your chin up......

i'm the same boat - 80 days til the wedding, but one of my MOHs told me that their not mailing out the invited for the shower until after i mail out the invitations for the wedding, so i'm thinking my shower wont' be til January.

my mom is very old-fashioned! she told me im sending the invites out way too early! i was going to send them 2 weeks ago but didnt get to, so im sending them this weekend.... is she kidding?! she said i should send them in january...

Yeah the oldies just don't get it!!!! My mom and dad both couldn't understand why we blocked our hotel already....I said 'I'm getting married on 8/8/08, it's a Friday night and we have OOTers.' They just stared at me with blank expressions!
