I know its a lil early to be thinking about invitations, but.........

for some reason im totally not feeling the idea of including Direction and Accomodation cards in my invitation packet. i'll be including detailed information of that stuff on my soon-to-be elaborate wedding website. and i think that everyone on my list is capable of using the internet, or will be traveling with someone that is capable. and all my OOT guest are college friends...so in know it wont be an issue for them to look up my website.
so i was thinking of just including a short note saying 'for directions and nearby accomodations please visit our website at blahblahblah.com' lol

any thoughts?

I personally think you should include the direction cards and hotel info but only for OOT guests. We have a wedding website too but I think some people might get lazy and not go on it. I think if it is in their faces when they open the invite they are more likely to call ASAP.

I know i would be the lazy one and not go one the website that fast.

I would include them. I alway grab the invite when I head out to a wedding. I probably wouldnt even notice until I was on the road that they werent included. If they dont have GPS...it could be a problem

I would still include the cards. Some people may not have internet access, especially the elderly.

I agree. Also I know a lot of people who still don't use the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!
