but i forget...so normally the RSVP is one month before the actual date correct? and you want to give at least a month to RSVP so invites should be sent 2 months before date? or did most of you send earlier?
I kind of think you are right... at least that's my plan also (mail them out 2 months before with an RSVP date of 1 month before).
i would say the latest to send it out is 2 months before. i'm sending them out 2.5 months before b/c i'm getting married on a holiday weekend. but 2 months is standard.

2 months is standard, we did it earlier because of personal reasons. If you sent the STDs, then later is fine too.
That's what I was aiming for....the 1 month before your date rsvp...so 2 months. We did about 9 weeks because we didn't send STD's and it's a popular weekend.
I gave mine a little extra time since my Wedding is in the summer and Iknow a lot of people go away on vacation... I sent out my invites the last week in April and my RSVP is June 14th for my July 25th Wedding. that gives me some extra time if I can't meet my minimum to invite some extras!
