I know it's LI Weddings, but...

FI and I went to look today at a place in Piermont called View on the Hudson. We really liked it and are kind of torn (we loved Riviera but I really am afraid it's too small) -- I'm wondering if anyone here has been to an event at View? I'd love some feedback on this before we make a decision...

I haven't been there, but it's definitely worth asking this question. Other people have been to weddings outside of LI, and there are brides here who got married outside of LI as well, but chose LIWeddings because of the sense of community. Please don't feel apologetic at all!

Thanks for the support. I just feel like this is such a huge decision -- thousands of dollars and, it's our wedding! There are so many choices it's overwhelming...I'd just like to hear someone say this place is okay before I commit.

Have you tried doing a search to see if anyone has posted reviews? Try that... I honestly dont know anything about them... You could see if they do showcases and try their food, and see if anyone else that is there is havving their wedding there... Good Luck... PS.. Thats what this site is here for.. A bunch of looney brides giving support and awesome advice to each other... It helps us keep sane!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions...I have searched EVERYWHERE and I can't seem to find any ONE person who has actually been there! I don't know if that's a sign or something...the place was lovely and the price was great...I'm just so torn without knowing about the food and service from someone who's been there...This is such a great community where everybody really helps out in situations like this...unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be one for Westchester/Rockland...I don't know...we might have to just go on faith with this.

Anyway, thanks again for your replies and help...I'll let you all know how it turns out.
