I was wondering about invitaiton wording with my mom helping pay for a lot of the wedding and my dad no longer here (deceased)

The only way you would write your father's name is:
Ann Marie Smith
daughter of Mrs. Jane Smith and the late Mr. John Smith
request the honour of your presence .......
