My bridesmaid made me one for my shower, and I think it was the best gift! I now want to make one for my sister. Her shower is in august. Where do I get the book & cute little things that she added in?????

How long does it usually take to make?

Thanks! k

Most supplies can be purchased at Michael's - especially all of the cute stickers and embellishments. What does the cover of your album look like and what size is it? The large 12x12 are pretty easy to purchase at Michael's. I also believe they have some 6x6 albums. My favorite mfg. is K&Co - Michael's has some of their stuff. Otherwise you can look online.

As far as time to make them - it all depends on what you're doing and how detailed each page will be.

Difficulty - varies depending on techniques but it is very easy to put together.

Remember that acid free/lignin free paper is what is used for the album and these requirements hold true for all of the embellishments too. This helps to preserve the photos. All of the scrapbook paper that Michael's has in their scrapbook section should meet this requirement. Good Luck!

You can go to craft stores like AC MOore and Michaels or there are a few scrapbooking stores on long island,

My favorite is The Scrapbook Patch in Miller Place (631-331-4533). Others are in Farmingville( SB Central), Islip (SB Alley), Cold Spring Harbour( don't remember name), Northport(SB Studio), Levittown(SB Cottage) and on 347 by Smithhaven Mall.(Scrap Away)
