But I want some fresh info and ideas (instead of just doing a search) about weekend trips...

Any ideas?

I love Saratoga Springs during the summer. It is near Albany, and has a great racetrack. Nice area in general...Poconos is fun...What type of place are you looking for? I went to school in Ithaca, and love going there in the summer. There are waterfalls you can swim in and the area is beautiful...Newport, RI is gorgeous, has beautiful mansions and B&Bs...Boston is always fun...Even a weekend staying at a hotel in the city is fun...

Cape May, NJ is REALLY adorable and has really nice B&B's. Also, the Poconos, Vermont is pretty. D.C -Cherry blossoms! Philadelphia is cool for sightseeing as well.

Hi you could try looking for a weekend trip on www.site59.com ....i've only used them once (to Boston) the only problem is that its for last minute trips only so you can't book too far inadvance, but i have gotten a few ideas for trips from them .... good luck!
