but i just need to allay my fears. when i tried on my dress, the samply was ivory, but i ordered it in white. it came in, i tried it on... and i think i like the ivory better now. however, the ivory wouldn't really go with my colors, and it's really too late - plus, i can't afford it! so how many of you ladies regretted your dress choice? did your feelings change after your first fitting?
I had panic attacks and nightmares after I ordered my dress. To the point where I bought a second one (on ebay really cheap) and now the first has come in and I love it! All the fretting for nothing..
I wouldn't worry about it too much... but what color scheme wouldn't match ivory???
I felt the same way....The detailing on my dress popped a lot more in the ivory and I ordered it in white because it was traditional and fit with my colors. I did really regret it, but in the end it looked gorgeous on the wedding day and I got a million compliments on it.

I had the opposite: ordered Ivory & am wishing I went white.
In the end it looks the same!
