I know this has probably been posted a million times, but
I am too lazy to search!!
I am stuck on invites. I am soooo unmotivated to get this done, and I know with less than 6 months to go, I need to do it already. I have been to Lion in the Sun in Huntington a few times, and we found one we liked, but it would be about $1000 for 125 invites. I just can't bring myself to spend that much. I then saw some on JeanM, but am not crazy about them. I am so tired of invitations, I just want to get it over with already. So, where have all of you gone to look at invites? I am looking for something non-traditional, preferabally in a color (not white or cream). Thanks, and sorry this was so long.

We are most likely getting ours from Lindas Lovelies..she is in East Meadow and a vendor on here and she discounts!
Also have you looked on the Costco website they have Checkerboard invites

I didnt realize Lion in the Sun was so expensive - I am going thru the same invitation problem as people may know from other frantic posts!!!

Well, I don't think its Lion in the Sun thats expensive, its the ones we had picked out. (william arthur). Thanks for all your suggestions, ladies. I was just on the mygatsby website, and I remember now that I really liked the envelopments invitations back when we first started looking around online. Lion in the Sun has them, so I think we will go back there to see them in person because I find the Mygatsby website kind hard to follow, and they also charge $15 for a sample. LA productions is also a vendor for envelopments, so maybe i will give her a call, do I need an appointment? Where is she located?

Yea, they are the closest place to me too, thats why I keep going back there. There really nice and very helpful. They are closed on Sundays though, just in case you were thinking of going on a sunday.

I used Tammy at Sincerely Yours Invitations. She is such a sweet heart and can work out awesome deals for you. We not only got invites from her but we got out seating chart, rose cones, and programs from her
