i KNOW this is a dumb question but...

okay, i know that when a girl is married, and she's your maid of honor, you call her the matron of honor.
but if your bridesmaid is married...she's still a bridesmaid right?? i feel so stupid for asking this

its a good question...bc you would think there would be another name for a married bridesmaid..buti have never heard of a bridesmatron or any other term but bridesmaid

you would think so! :o) but i think i tend to agree..i even tried googling it and MOST answers are that it's still bridesmaid! ..well i think i'll just stick with bridesmaid and not over think it! i'm making these little swatch cards for them (i'll post pics later) and wanted to put a little message in it for each of them. i'm gonna just call her a bridesmaid :o) thank you all so much for your help!! all you girls are always so helpful!!

It's still a bridesmaid. Traditionally only un-married girls are supposed to be Bridesmaids and the married one the Matron. It's your wedding so if all your bridesmaids are married it's no biggie. I dont think people even notice those things anymore.

I didn't realize about the maid and matron until someone noticed it on my programs, luckily b4 the final print I had married people that I had as bridesmaid, I didn't change
anything, but I could be wrong.
