I know this isn't my thing to do...

But I really have to ask a question. I went down my list of vendors and things I did and what I spent, and I was curious to know something from you ladies...

But besides the RH, because we all know that's big money, what vendor did you SPLURGE on? Like instead of doing something small which could have worked for you, you decided to go all out on something. What was it?

Mine was the photographer. I am fickle about my photos and who does them and I adore my photographer right now. But, I'm spending $3500.

The Band....but it was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

i dont think $3500 is such a huge splurge...so many people pay much more for photo..sounds like you did great! I am paying about the same..

my next most expensive vendor outside of my RH was Transportation... it was around 4400...

our biggest ticket items were

photog/video
florist

each were in the 6k range.

agreed i'm paying double for my photo/video.... definitely a splurge for me. PLUS we got a photobooth, so add on extra for that splurge.

Photo Video without a doubt. I am paying double our Budget. But for me Photos are so important. I am snap happy and that day i might be a bit busy to be taking pics.

we always knew we'd spend a lot on our band, so that wasn't a surprise.

but we definitely went WAY over the top with flowers. we weren't initially intending on that, but after we met our florist, we just couldn't see ourselves using anyone else.

haha well it was a splurge for me, since everything else was under $500. (my dress was bought by my aunt as a wedding gift).

$391 for a limo

$400 for bridesmaid dresses

$450 for flowers

Dj is included with the RH.

now that I'm thinking about it, LOL, I spent $200 on my tiara. LOL....but it had red rhinestones and I swear it called my name when i saw it on the shelf. LMAO!!!

my big splurges I guess were band and flowers. i thought i was gonna save on flowers because i like greenery and branches but with fabric and height and stuff it ended up being expensive. BUT we did save elsewhere so still not over budget...yet...
