I Know This May Sound Crazy but.......

I am still deciding on another place now and comparing it to Fountainhead. Yeah, I know you are thinking what is up with this girl. I know I would. I had made things more difficult for myself yesterday by looking at another facility.....Jericho Terrace. Why you ask? Because I guess after the VIP disappointment, I wasn't really content with Fountainhead (mainly because there wasn't a place around the facility to take pictures). So I went to Jericho Terrace late in the afternoon yesterday (by myself) and I was stunned by its beauty. I love everything about it. They told me that I will have to use the Oak Room for my reception, which isn't bad. Of course, i like the other rooms better but it is a very nice room. They said I can use Skylight room for the ceremony. However, I bumped into a couple of problems to book at this location:

1) I will have to guarantee a 100 people for that room. However the price with the 100 people is very similar to the price for Fountainhead for 75 people (diff of $125).

2) JT is less convenient for traveling than Fountainhead.

3)I will have to book it early in June. There is only one day available and it maybe a problem for me to get my wedding dress b4 that date. I am still trying to confirm with Macy's to see when it will be finished.

If i can get my dress finished by June 9th, should i go with Jericho or should I go with Fountainhead (wedding date in late July). Now I have to make a decision today because as you already know, I am running out of time. My FH really liked Jericho Terrace from the beginning because his friend is getting married there in August. But as many of you know, he can't make up his mind. I guess now it is rubbing off on me big time.

So what should it be:

Jericho Terrace
Fountainhead

So Fountainhead is in the lead!? Keep it comin people. I am making my final decision at 5pm. I told Fountainhead that i will be there at 6:30pm/7pm. I called Jericho and told them i am coming back to see them at 6pm.

Also, please give me your thoughts on either places.

I voted for Jericho Terrace because I went to a wedding at Fountainhead and personally didn't LOVE it... I love the outside of Jerciho Terrace. Where are you and your family traveling from.. Queens/LI or Westchester? Maybe that should also be a deciding factor since both places are in completely different locations.

The wedding I went to there though, was not the best wedding in and of it self (there was lots of drama) so maybe that's why I have that opinion. I also love the outside of Jerciho Terrace. We are all of over the damn place. My family is traveling from Manhattan (immediate family), Upstate (Wallkill/Newburgh area) and PA (Mom and husband). My FH and I are coming from Westchester (Yonkers). His family is coming Manhattan (immediate family) and a lot of the other ones are coming from Brooklyn. My MOH is coming from Fishkill, NY (Upstate)and his Best man is coming from Manhattan. A lot of my friends are coming from the bronx.

So that sums it up.

as far as the travel...im having my wedding in suffolk and both my mom/dad's families are mainly from nj and upstate ny/ct...and we have ppl traveling from nyc as well.

VIP changed the price on me....an extra $20 pp. They had already given me the quote sheet with everything in writing and then they went ahead and changed the price. So I went ahead told them that they can forget it.

I forgot to add that I went down to Macy's today and they told me that my dress will come in from China by May 15th. So that it will definitely be ready for June 15th.

i am getting married at fountainhead. if you are worried about the pictures, there is a park nearby where a lot of westchester girls go to take their pictures. its literally 5 minutes away and very beautiful there.

bump bump. Thanks again for all of your help and input. It seems like it is a pretty close race here between both facilities.

I will be leaving the office in the next 45 minutes to meet FH and head over to Jericho T. and then Fountainhead.

The final decision is Fountainhead. Jericho told us that someone else booked the terrace room, which would had been our Chapel for our ceremony. However, they offered the Dome room instead. However, we really decided to stick with Fountainhead and take pictures at the nearby park.
