I know this might sound bad.....

but i am really tired of wedding planning. I feel drained. My FH is leaving it up to me with ALL the decisions. all i hear from all ends is 'its up to you.. its YOUR wedding'. i even have to get involved with my shower!!

at first it was fun , but work has been so busy lately. i am soo tired when i get home. i know when it gets closed its going to get worse.

then when i do excited & talk about it to my friends or co-workers i feel like they are saying to themselves 'Oh God there she goes again talking about her wedding'


anybod else feel this way

i was sick of wedding planning 7 months ago! i have no desire to plan anything anymore! your so not alone !

I totally hear you..im getting bored with planning..and fh is really annoying me lately with it!

I must say that I am the complete opposite. But that is equally annoying. FH has an opinion on EVERYTHING and although I am happy he has taken such interest, I feel like I'm missing out on those moments of planning with people like my mom and my sisters. Not only that, him and I are different when it comes to making decisions. I like to be organized and take care of things in an efficient manner and he is more of a last minute planner and it gets really frusturating when I am ready to make a decision and he is like 'Oh well, maybe we should wait a little bit'.

Can you designate any of your BM's to help out with things?

I'm completely stressed out! I don't sleep anymore and I'm just physically and mentally exhausted - so I can totally relate to what you're going through.

I'm a Christmas freak and this year, I'm not even thinking about the holidays. I just can't. I'm on serious overload!

Planning can be overwhelming.. luckily I work with Hwolf and we help eachother out. ....you are not the only one. The holidays are such a bummer.. FH and I buying our wedding bands and opening them for Xmas because we refuse to buy eachother gifts right now bw building a house and the wedding payments..

You totally should! There were a few weeks when FH and I did nothing but wedding planning together...no date nights or anything, and I was getting really upset and annoyed. He and I just splurged on a weekend getaway and it was sooo worth it! At least it reminded us why we're doing all this planning.

after a year of only putting towards the wedding and not splurging on myself i did that a little bit recently, of course i decided to do it now right before all these huge payments and now im like this but i know what you mean lol

plus after you have everything booked and have been planning for over a year its normal to feel this way

No,, I dont think it sounds bad, I think everyone gets that way at one point or another.
I think for me it comes and goes. At times I have had enough, felt overwhelmed and BROKE!

It can definitely be draining, overwhelming, exhausting, etc. But then you get one more thing done, and it just feels so good! Try to keep looking forward at what all this planning is for. AND, I expect all you girls to throw this advice right back at me when I'm feeling overwhelmed Thanks!

Also, i just would love not to make one decision. Like my sister keeps telling me stuff about the shower. like where they want to have it etc. To be honest i just rather not know where & when. I luv being surprised !

I'm so over planning and paying for this wedding and I'm sure everyone I know is tired of hearing about it. I'm so relieved that there's only 2 months to go and that I didn;t have a longer engagement. It's been fun, but let's move on

Have you told your sister that? If she's the one taking charge of the bridal shower and you're ok with whatever they do for you.....let her know you'd love to be surprised.

i know what you mean, i'm tired of looking at websites, coming up with all the 'personal touches', etc. i just wish everything was done. i don't really talk much about wedding planning but people at work and friends too are always asking 'so how are the wedding plans coming along?' - work has been super busy and stressful and the wedding is the last thing i want to think about.

I am so tired of researching vendors and planning. We keep trying to come up with personal touches too, and I think that is probably making me even more stressed. I just want to be at my reception already!
