I know we've seen this vent a million times...

...but I can't hold it in. Two of FH's coworkers RSVP'd yes to our wedding. I've become friends with them over the past year and a half. They asked us to reserve a room for them and I did so under our name and credit card. I've been calling the girl for nearly two weeks now to have her transfer the room to her name and no response. One of the girls called me yesterday and said, 'I think it's only fair that I tell you, because Jodi is obviously not going to, that she's not coming to the wedding. She booked a trip to Bermuda a couple of weeks ago and I thought she would have told you by now.' This girl was just going to let us find out the day of the wedding when she wasn't there! I think it's incredibly rude and I don't consider her a friend anymore. And guess what, we still haven't heard from her! Obviously, the other one isn't coming anymore (understandably) because she can't find anyone to bring on such short notice and would feel weird by herself, not to mention having the full burden of travel and lodging. I'm just so pissed at this girl Jodi. I can't wait until she calls sometime after the wedding so I can ignore the call.

Thanks for reading. Other than this, everything is going great and I'm really enjoying the days leading up to the wedding!

Totally agreed! Done and done! I sent the invitations out 10 weeks ago because I knew it was a trek for certain people and I wanted them to have plenty of time to make the decision on whether to come or not. Who does that?!?

It's one thing that she RSVP'd yes and isn't coming... but the real kicker is that she had you reserve a room for her on your credit card!!! To then turn around and book a trip to wherever and screw you like that?!?!?!! WHAT IS THAT ABOUT??!?!?! AND THEN TO HIDE becuase she is too ashamed and KNOWS she is 1000000000% in the wrong??!?!!

This girl needs a real swift kick right up her a hole with some pointed toed shoes on!!!!!

Hopefully she will get married and you can do it right back to her. Payback is a real B*tch!!!!!

I thought I was overreacting but I KNOW I'm not. How inconsiderate can people be. She booked a TRIP?!? I have two friends' weddings this summer and I wouldn't miss them for the world because I said I'd be there. what a biatch

No f'in way are you overreacting! Can you still cancel her room? If you can and get your money back that's great for you. If you can't I would pay a visit to this girl and MAKE her give me the money for it! That's just DEAD WRONG!!!!! I'm mad at her! Do you want me to go to her house and tell her how it is???
