My mom came over tonight and she taught me. Crocheting is much easier than knitting and FASTER!!! YAY I am making a sweater for Gizmo! I have the pattern in my head so I hope it comes out OK!

Re: I learned crocheting too!
cool. congrats! Crocheting is definitely faster and easier. I would only crochet afghans... to knit them would take forever. and its easier to correct mistakes with crocheting!

I love crocheting, but I am kind of bored with it.
I have been knitting lately.

I am still not done with my FIRST SCARF that I started to knit. Crocheting is faster and easier for me but I like the way knitting looks better I am probably going to do both... crochet the big things and knit the small ones

I suggest you master one then move on to the other.
I have been crocheting forever, it was time to move on!
My first knitted scarf came out cute, then I made a bag that was not so cute

I tried crocheting and everytime i try i mess it up. I want to try again someday so i can make things for my Niece and nephew and maybe someday some stuff for my kids.
ETA: when i have kids i should say, hopefully at the end of this year i want to try to get pg with my first baby.

OK, I am done with his sweater but it looks more like a cape I am going to try to make 2 triangular pieces to fix it. How on earth am I going to make triangular pieces?

Start with how ever many stitches you need then decrease at both ends every row.
