I made an appointment at the mikva in Flushing for me and fi. (mikva is a ritual bath that Jewish women ( and sometimes men -separately of course ) take before the wedding, in case people are wondering) Anyway, I had to tell her that our wedding is March 3rd. even though it’s March 16th. I had to lie because I heard many times that they don’t open the mikva house for you in the morning unless it’s your wedding day and I don’t want to go in the middle of the day because the water gets dirty. I feel bad thought! She was so nice! I am a bad, bad Jewish girl!

Re: I lied to a nice mikva lady!
You know what they say...... Cleanliness is next to Godliness
