I lied...last question for those who m/c
Re: I lied...last question for those who m/c
I miscarried on a Thursday I believe- I took Friday the weekend of course, Monday and Tuesday. I took 3 days total from work. For me work was therapeutic being around the kids helped make me forget but my students are not little ones.

Mentally it was better for me to get back to work within a few days. I found the more I sat at home the more I thought about it. Physically only you will know when it's right to go back.

Oy... I fm'd you this, but I didn't even take an iota of time off. It just so happened that I miscarried right after I got home from work, and I ended up going in the next day. But, for me, it wasn't that heavy or painful, so that by the next day I was only spotting. Physically I was fine - emotionally, I was a wreck and regret not taking off the week. If I were you, I would take it day-by-day. You'll know when you're ready... stay at home until you feel emotionally equipped.

I only took 1 day off and thats the day that I had the D&C....for me it was easier to be around people than to stay home where I would be upset all day....but everyone is different

My D & C was on Wednesday, and I didn't go back to work until the following WEd. Physically, I probably could have gone back on Monday, but mentally, I couldn't deal with a lot of people telling me how sorry they were.
