I lost 10 lbs

and i went to FH's cousins wedding @ the North Ritz Club!

My review!

Food -Delish
Service-Great
Ambiance-Nice-i do have to say though-Flowers & Lights do give off a better look whcih i thought they could have upt it a bit

what i didn't like was that the Hall wasn't dim..they had mad lights it was too bright for my liking..overall i was impressed by the RH-

also, what i did like which i was shocked- that they let people smoke in the inside bar- dance floor etc...IM NOT a smoker...but Y i liked it is bc EVERYONE was on the dance floor and not outside smoking...and missing the wedding.

Ugh, the smoking :(
My wedding is going to be barren unless it pours outside that day. The grounds are so nice and all of my FH friends and family SMOKE. I mean, ALL of them pretty much. They will be partying outside while I'm alone on the dance floor. Ha ha!

Congrats on losing the weight and glad you had a great time at the wedding.

im doing isagenix so it has helped me reach my semi mini goal :)

I just have a few questions about the NRC though lol Did they bring in any extra lights? like from a DJ or did they have the tulle with the lights hanging from the ceiling?? B/c FH and I have been there so many times since we booked them and the room is always so dim and I think sometimes a little too dark!!..So thats interesting that it was too bright lol..I didnt know they let people smoke inside!!! FH would bug the f*ck out if he sees someone smoking inside. But i'm glad the food and service was great! I worry about that stuff too.

well- i think it was the DJ...im picky about S*** like that like- i wanted to ask them to dim the lights it was annoying lol but overall i enjoyed myself.

It is Greek owned thats prob why they let everyone smoke inside

I was thisclose to booking at NRC.....my draw back was that you could see syosset hospital from the CH room.....i work for them, so ummmmm thats the LAST place I wanna see on my day!!! I know it sounds stupid, the food was great and the place was immaculate, but idk....i don't even want to think about work that day lol

Also, I greatly dislike the fact that they let people smoke inside. FH is an asthmatic, and i'm allergic to cigarettes!!

that all depends on the couple, if they want it dim with special lighting they get this from the DJ, but some probably request for the lights to stay on

My hall is dark wood and dim and I love that look . I think I will play off that effect by adding dramatic lighting on top of my CP and/or around the perimeter/bottom of the room

YAY! 10 lbs gone!!!!!!!!!!



ugh I wouldnt like people smoking on my dance floor. YUCK!

i just went thru this at my birthday party this weekend. half the crowd was outside....i tried to not let it bother me cause there's nothing you can do!
