Hi everyone.. I lost my job yesterday and with only 7 months till our wedding, I'm really nervous. This job was perfect and everything was finally starting to come together.
I'm so depressed now. I can't believe I'm looking for a job again when I just started this one in January.

Anyone have any advice as to how to start over? I really wasn't expecting to be looking for a new job one month after starting one.

Try not to let it get you down!!! My DH lost his job when we were planning. And then I got laid off about seven months after the wedding!! Luckily he had a job then!!

hang in there and get gritty and put yourself on a schedule set goal and follow through
I was laid off 6 months after our wedding, 1 month after moving into our new apt, 2 days after buying a new car -- ALL THIS WHEN I GOT LAID OFF
I was floored!!
That day I had my resume out, made contacts and looked at headhunters who specialized in my field. I woke up every morning at the same old time and set goals of number of resume's to send out and calls to follow up on before lunch, took an hour lunch break and then after lunch researched for the next morning.
