2 o my GFs when they were preggo was still very fly, I admired them immensly. I refuse to be a spandex and t-shirt preggo women. Why am I saying all this?? b/c I cam across some cute preggo clothes. I saw a girl today, looked like she ws squeezing her belly trying to fit in to some pants that were way too small :(

Can you tell that I am having fun!!!

Wow, great maternity clothes Shamma!! It's true that there are so many great styles and choices out there. I only have 5 weeks left of work and 8 weeks from my due date, so I'm trying REALLY hard not to buy any more clothes. Most of my pregnancy was in the winter, so there's almost no point in buying more stuff right now. Those last few weeks, I'm sure I will be in my maternity jeans most of the time. Unfortunately, a lot of the really great stuff is totally out of my budget right now, but I feel sexy anyway

Same thing as Niha, I didnt feel like buying any new clothes in my last 2 months BUT it did get HOT last spring and I was dying in my prego jeans I went out and bought the spandex shorts. They were only $9 and I figured what the hell its only 2 months and I look like a cow anyway so why not - MOOOOOO - BUT before I was VERY prego I loved to wear the maternity clothes. They were SO comfy and stretchy in the belly area.

PS I also put on one of those short dresses... I was almost too embarrassed to leave the house. I looked like I was one giant stomach. Next time I wont wear a dress like that.

karen-that's what i'm worried about, yesterday being 86 degrees killed me!! I couldn't believe how sensitive I was to the heat! Believe it or not, I'd rather have 45 degree weather right now than 86. So, if this Spring is like it was last year, I will def. need to get some new clothes, even if I only wear them for a few weeks. I'll have to plan my next pregnancy to land in the warm weather so I can get more use out of my clothes!

Ladies, all you have to do is copy the properites of the pix that I post and you will find the stores, I got them from 3 different places.

ladies I am not referring to when you are in the last stages of your pregnancy, i am talking about the early parts, when you are out and about. Some preggo ladies that I have seen look bad all 9 mos. Is that really necessary???

I guess you do the best you can Shamma...whether in the early months or in that later months. Maternity clothes wind up costing a lot of $$. Unless you are addicted to labels and designer stuff...there is a high potential for sticker shock. All for someting you will wear a few times and NEVER wear when you are not pregnant.

take it from a gal whose been there...I could not wait to pack up all my maternity clothes and underthings. That included al my 'cute' stuff and some suits.

Now I am imagining the day that i dont have to wear a nursing bra!

PS- for large sized women, I found good bra buys at the leggs store in the source mall. It is right next door to Motherhood Maternity. All sizes....
