I LOVE CHILDREN, DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT

I'm writing this to encourage Moms to please watch their children at wedding related functions.
Daughter Donna, Debi's MOH, just called. She is the BM in an upcoming wedding, in Nov. Today was the Shower. I wrapped a basket of items for Donna and her friend to give the Bride. I spent a lot of time and money on the giftwrap materials, ie., special red, white, and blue organdy, and ribbons. I asked Donna how the Bride liked it, and she told me there were two little ones, running around at the shower, and one spilled tea on the gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Mother had no comment; The Bride was trying to be nice, but Donna said she looked really frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, not to be mean, but, I'm a bit upset!! Mary MOB

So sorry about that! MY mom spends a lot of time on the gifts she wraps and they always look wonderful - and I bet she'd be a little upset if her hard work was ruined too ... but kids will be kids, right??

I agree with you on this. I like kids- they are cute and all, but the parents have to keep an eye on them.

My sister and I NEVER misbehaved either at home or in public b/c we KNEW our parents would not tollerate it. The parents ruin it for everyone else.

This is the main reason i dont want kids at my wedding.
