so i'm buying centerpeices from ebay. so instead of buying them right away, i decided to sell stuff and build a credit in FH's paypal account. i put on some stuff and didn't sell anything but after revamping and getting some helpful tips, my items are selling like hotcakes!!!! i'm gonna get my centerpieces for free!!!
did anyone else sell stuff on ebay for extra cash?!?!
this is great. i almost wanna quit my job, that's how much money i'm making!!! but soon i'm gonna run out of stuff to sell

Thats AWESOME! What the hell are you sellin on there that youre making so much $$?!?!? FH sells stuff on there periodically, and sometimes makes out OK, othertimes gets screwed!!! I just don't have the patience to do it, but I know a few people who sell on ebay for wedding $! Good luck with it!!
ebay is so addicting!! if you have stuff that you don't want anymore, sell it!!

How do you figure out the shipping? Do you go to the PO first to weigh and then after the item sells to stamp?

well, a lot of people make most their money on shipping. what i do is i guess on the weight then calculate it on usps.com. then it gives me an idea of what i should charge for shipping.

Girl I know the feeling!!! I LOVE EBAY!!!! Its been a while since ive sold anything..but I would say the few things that I did sell years ago..I made about a $200 profit and this wasnt for items I had at home. I went out to the 99 cent stores purchased items and sold them on ebay for more money. Youll be surprised what you can sell and what people are willing to buy on ebay. As for purchasing wedding stuff on ebay..Ill I can say is that its the best thing to do!!! Ive purchased almost everything for my wedding on ebay..centerpieces, candles, favors, engraved serving set and flute sets, flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, unity candles and untiy candle set, tiara, veil, wedding bubbles, tulle, guest book, rose petals lol. GOOD LUCK!
