I love Karma!

I love how karma is a total b**ch.

One of my distant aunts on my mom's side for years and years used to taunt me and my older sister how she didn't think either of us would ever find a good man, get married, etc. She is just a bitter person in general, always used to say how she and her husband were sweethearts since the age of 16 and would die together...

just found out they are getting divorced! apparently he wanted out for many years and now he couldn't take it anymore and moved out, filed for divorce...

guess that will play an interesting role in how I create my seating chart.

Also love how karma seems to strike at the same time because another co-worker bride at my company who used to brag about how wonderful her FH is, how they are having an almost Platinum wedding and used to drive me NUTS about what I was doing for my own wedding 0 just sent an email to a few of us that her mid July wedding was called off !! KARMA I tell ya!!!

I can get on board with you about your distant aunt~she sounds like a real piece of work (no offense), but IMO it’s a little mean to be so happy about someone cancelling their wedding, when all they did was be excited and talk about it.

yeah my aunt is def a piece of work..She and my mom had a HUGE falling out several years ago when my mom was in the hospital and she basically came by only when it was convenient for her..and my older sister and I always put school first before dating boys when we were kids..she was aghast when my sister didn't start to seriously date her now-husband until medical school..Like really? women who don't get marride by age 30 are doomed to be spinsters forever ?? what a mentality!!

and yeah I am not happy about the co-worker but I can see why the wedding was called off. She's one of those brides you see on 'Bridezilla' - more focused about throwing a great wedding and showing off her FH's good lookgs/good job instead of the fact that marriage is like a 30 year contract and lasts more than 1 day, KWIM??? A lot of us here at work were stunned but when we put our hats together, we have a good idea of what might've happened.
