especially since the drama boy moved out from downstairs. But on a day like today I have all the windows open & I am in the 'take-off' flight path for Republic Airport. Not only is it super loud, but the jets actually shake my house.
My poor dog keeps trying to jump up & catch the planes....ya know...like a frisbee

God this is bringing back memories of my apt in Queens. I had a 'F*** me Baby' neighbor, as me and my then-FH called him because he would scream just that while getting it on with his white trash wife every night.
We had neighbors upstairs who would fist fight and scream Greek curses (which my Greek friend taught me so I understood) at one another. Those upstairs neighbors flooded my entire apartment one day bc they forgot the sink was on ??? (gotta be more to that story....)
And it too was right by the airport (LGA) so I got the noise too....
Oh, and the broken stove and the faucet that used to make loud noises and shake every time I turned it on, and the guy that tried to break in (shall i go on?)
mind you this was in a nice area of queens.... in other words, i understand your frustration.
my friend used to live right next to a subway line in brooklyn...her house used to shake so badly every time a train went by that everything would fall off the tables....
Gotta love apartments!

what i can't hear you??? i am in the flight path for laguardia. one night it was so bad i decided to call 311 to complain and they gave me the number to port authority and i bit**ed and complained for 15 minutes. the dumb woman on the phone said, ' i can't hear you because of the plane.' AHHHHH! I got to used to it real quick and now the planes lulls me to sleep...oh look it is the 6:25 USAIR to Washington...and here comes the 6:43 from Boston. J/K

Kinda.... I think he was moving out of NY anyway... the last few incidents just helped to speed it up.
