Do any of you use the crock pot? It's the best invention ever! I put a liner in-add all of the ingredients, turn it on.... And then I come home to a nice healthy cooked meal! And no cleaning up either- all I have to do is throw out the liner! YAHH!
P.S: I made pot roast with veggies and mashed potatoes! It was YUMMY!!!!

hmmm...FH says he HATES crock pots b/c his mom used to use them to make beef stew which he doesn't like....I wonder if I can still get one and try new things? hehe....

i love my crock pot!!! my mom has cooked all kinds of meals in there from the time i was little.. alot of concoctions (sp?) but i do have a GREAT recipe for slow cooker mac and cheese its like boston market mac and cheese! sooo yummy!!

I haven't used mine in a while but I used to use it all of the time. I used to make yummy pot roasts and pork roasts.

You can make them in it but I actually didn't. I peeled and cubed them before work real fast. Then when I got home, I just put them in the pot with water to boil and went upstairs to get washed up & changed. When I came back down, all I had to do was drain them and add the milk and butter. Everything else was already made... Put out plates and we sat down. I'm telling you, it's a lifesaver. I work from 8:45-7 every day-by the time I get home, I'm not doing a lot of cooking.

Me too!!!!! I'm seriously the worst cook ever! That's why I am so in love with the crock pot. I can actually made food that FH doesnt spit out!
