I love my dentist

Seriously. She is cool the whole staff is. I brought FH to them when he needed major dental work.

Now they know we're engaged.

My sort of engagement gift? Whitening regiment with the exact molds of my teeth. For bright smile on my wedding day. No cost.

Tell me about it.

Last year we bought a sonic care tooth brush from her ($75).. she provided free replacement heads the whole time. This year they upgraded to the new sonic care toothbrush. I told her we were willing to pay for own replacement heads on our old one from now one.

SHe gave us the new one. No cost.

LOVE LOVE LOVE our dentist. Then again, FH has had about $6,000 in work done on his teeth, with no insurance so I guess they love us too!

Drat! I so don't want to trek into the city for a dentist. Besides, I have dental coverage, but I'm sure a lot of dentists won't take it.

I have dental throught Aetna.
FH has none.. hence we may get hitched this year and party next year so his benefits thought my office kick in.

PS the main man there is Doctor Ru*dd*ick hehe

ETA:
Jann - they're open weekends and late nights. Jim has to come in from MELVILLE!!! hehe

I, on the other hand, HATE my dentist...but I need a lot of work done too and I want it all done before my wedding. I just had two teeth pulled on Thursday...that was traumatizing!

Jim (FH) had gum surgery on all four quadrant of this mouth and bone scaling on the all four rear quadrants.

They refunded us money for an antibody procedure that didn't really work (said 'why charge you if it was useless'). They also refunded us for consultation with the first dentist (I always forget the special names they have) because he had to see a new one (same office) since it was that severe. They said 'Why charge you twice for the same consultation?'

This is my third dentist in the city. It's the 'painless' type so a lot I may have to pay the difference on from my insurance cuz insurance likes pain.. something to do with the way they do busines I think.. hehe

I love this place.. really i do!

I am looking at going to Bright Smiles in the City for a whitening session before the big day. They are roughly $600. I know, a bit expensive!

jannshari- where are you looking for a dentist to be located? I have a GREAT dentist. Actually its a whole practice and I love all the dentist and I have had quite a bit of work done (including peridontal surgery, root canal) and then have been awesome. They are located in Babylon.
