she still chews on my shoes all the time! she chewed up 2 pairs of shoes this week.
i try to be good about putting them away but sometimes i forget and then she goes at them. Ughhhhh its so frustrating bc I am poor right now before the wedding and shes eating all my good shoes!

can u spray the shoes with that stuff they sell in the pet stores? i had to do that with my table cuz he would chomp on the legs all day long. its some nasty tasting spray (which may or may not ruin your shoes) but you get the idea. or tabasco sauce, ewA!

we have it and used to use it on our furniture and stuff when she was younger. i just never thought to spray it on my shoes. I guess i could try it!

UGH! My dog did this for the first year and a ha;f we had him and I wanted to wring his neck. I've literally cried over shoes he's eaten. Since then I've gotten REALLY good about putting my shoes away in the closet. But, is there anything your puppy particularly doesn't like the taste of? Like my dog HATES spicey foods, so I put a little spicey mustard (like the kind you get from the chinese food place) on the sole of the shoe so when he tasted it he was immediately turned off of chewing it. LOL! It worked and it's funny to see his face. If you even hold the mustard packet up to him, he backs away and his lips curl back. LOL!

maybe if you spray 1 pair of shoes you dont care about and then she will get the idea. i dont know how smart she is cuz my pug's realllly dumb lol

My dog is 3 and still eats my shoes when we don't crate him. So far he has eaten coach shoes, coach boots, random flats and many remotes.

yeah shes chewed on some bags too! Its basically anything leather that she'll go after.
i know i have to be better about always putting stuff away. But I will also try putting something icky on my shoes

Yeah, I wish it ended with shoes- they've eaten lots of things- remotes, cell phone, eyeglasses, a REBATE check (try calling up HP and explaining THAT one, they had a good laugh at me!), a wooden spoon, socks, anything and everything! Good luck! Hope she stops chewing!
