So.....our wedding is November of next year. We were supposed to go on vacation this November for 4-5 days to an Island to relax and calm ourselves before the crazy year ahead.
A couple weeks ago, I was stressing about money and told him that I dont think we should be spending money on a vacation the year before our wedding, it would be irresponsible, etc.
I am super stressed at work right now and the engagement party is in 3 weeks and I realize all that keeps coming out of my mouth is, 'I need a vacation'. Well FH just called me and told me he just got off the phone with the travel agent and he booked us a vacation to the BAHAMAS the day after thanksgiving this year!
YAY! He is awsome....btw...it is my birthday/christmas present!

aww thats awesome! As a bride to be...just remember there are many things you can do to scrimp and save for your wedding...and even ways to save money on your wedding itself...but a vacation shouldn't be one of those things you skimp out on. with work and wedding planning and anything else you've got going on you deserve a vacation! Enjoy it!
