I love my FIL's

My FIL's told us today that they want to pay for all our vendors (florist, dj, limos & photographer & videographer). I can't even begin to tell you how much stress that takes off of us. They are so awesome and I am so grateful!!! I hate letting people pay for stuff for me but they insist as our wedding present.

That is fantastic. I know how you feel my FIL's have offered $$$ for our vendors as well. I was very apprehensive at first. It is what is allowing us to have the wedding exactly as we want it.

It has made us a lot let stressed out!!!

congrats thats awesome..v But beware cause my fil's also said they want to help out n want to pay flowers limo chruch and reharsal.... But secertly that ment we have all say in what limos u use how long u get them and what flowers n how many .... Its been nothing but a headache i wish we were just doing it ourself. as much as i love that they are tryin to help us it feels like they are steeping over us and doing whatthey want cause its there money! errr

lucky for us we already picked out everything months ago and they seem really happy with everything... the only thing FMIL said was to make sure the DJ plays music for all age groups to enjoy, which is what I planned on anyhow.

FH has a huge family... and when I was talking to his Mom and Aunt about the comparision of my family of 40 people total, and his, about 165 total... she argued with me that they have a small family! Uhm...ok then. I just smilied nicely and was cursing her out in my head! I think that's her way of sayin, we aint' giving you nodda! If anything, I'll have FH speak to his Dad to convince his mom about a few months before the wedding! LOL

I wish that could happen to us.. But they just paid towards my FSIL wedding.. then my FBIL is getting married in May and we're in October.. they'd have to take out another morgage!!! hahaha

If they want to help you I dont think it should be based on how many ppl .. I dont know.. FH's family is about 40 ppl at our wedding and my family is 130, then the rest are friends. sorry

and yes it does feel great.. alot of weight lifted off of our shoulders.. I feel really guilty and spoiled though. My parents are paying for the reception (my dad insisted the day we got engaged and wont take no for an answer) and now the FIL's are paying for so much.. I really dont like taking money from people, but they all insist and are actually happy to do it (hopefully i will be more comfortable with it by the wedding) however...now we can def. go on a honeymoon, with our mortgage and all the wedding expenses we were going to wait... but now we are totally going on one!

I can not stress enough of how great that is! I know that it shouldn't matter how many people, but that's just the way they are. LOL. His mom is tight with money, yet his dad is always willing to help. The thing is, his Dad has no right to money without her say! LOL. I k now that she doesn't want to pay a dime...just give us nice gifts...she paid in full for her daughers wedding about 4 years ago, so now she thinks she is done. Sorry... i've been getting alot of stress from her... oh well.
