I love my In Laws...

One of my future brother in laws will not be at our wedding. He is flying up TOMORROW... 2 weeks before the wedding ... but he simply cannot afford to fly up for the wedding. WHATEVER.

The OTHER future brother in law has not RSVP'd. So I asked FMIL what's up... will he be coming? She leaves me a phone message.. ya ready?

'Hi Jeannie.. we don't know if Michael will be coming or not. He isn't sure yet. But it shouldn't be a problem, you can just put him at our table if he shows up.'

Did she just tell me to pay for him and hope he shows up? Oh.. yeah - she did!

So I asked for clarification on Sunday and she said he still doesn't know. He hasn't decided if he will bring anyone either!!!!!! MY WEDDING IS IN 18 days!

Did she just indicate I should pay for him AND his possible guest and hope they show up?? Oh yeah... she did.

Ever feel like recinding and invitation?

This sounds like my brother inlaw. The only reason I knew he was coming was because he rented a tux. But he was late to everything else. Familys .....

I would stop calling the in laws and call the brother directly and let him know that he needs to tell you NOW... he doesn't eat for free and you aren't going to pay for a plate that he may or may not eat.... PEOPLE ARE DUMMIES!!
