My mom lives in Florida and I live here, which has been really miserable when planning the wedding. She just told me she's going to fly to NY for a weekend in June to help me go dress shopping!!! I love her so much!

Girls, it's all done out of selfishness. LOL!!!! We don't want to miss a single moment of the excitement. Seeing our little girls so happy is what we live for, and from the day you were born, we dreamed of the day you would no longer be playing dress-up bride, but actually being one. I hope you all enjoy these special days with your Moms as much as my daughter and I are enjoying ours together. My 'little girl' found her perfect dress yesterday and hearing the excitement in the single word 'MOM!' from the dressing room as she slipped it on, gave me goosebumps all over. I would not have traded that moment for the world. Her dress makes her look like a princess and she glowed as she admired it from all angles.
I truly admired the advice by zjulietx. Helping your Mom find her own special gown, will bring the whole experience full circle for both of you. You are all such very special young women. You touched my heart as I read how much you love and appreciate your mothers. They are very lucky women to have you as their daughters. All the best to each and every one of you. Mary
