I love my mom but.....

this woman is driving me crazy. Long story short we disagree on favors. I want to have Monogram Cookies and she thinks it won't go over well. She instead has decided to order 'HER' favors to go against mine. I keep telling her that 2 favors are ridiculous but she doesn't care. I really am not a fan of the favors she likes. What do you girls think of these candles she wants to order?

Sorry mom, but am not a fan!! This is one of those things that I would pass on (I almost always leave favors behind) or chuck. I'm sorry! I really want to like them because I think your mom is awesome...but I don't...

Q- that is an 'old school' boriqua favor...same thing my family is expecting to see. they don't get the new favor style...I am getting the same thing on my end....

I don't know what to tell you...your mom is feisty LOL. do a breakdown of the costs, and maybe she'll see the light on this one too.

I also just wanted to add, in case anyone is offended by my reference, that it in no way is meant to disparage anyone, or their taste in favors.

Honestly, I wouldn't use that candle - not a big fan of it. But I would definately eat a cookie!!!!

I agree. It would be something I would definitely throw out.

ETA: Why doesn't she give that out as a favor at your shower - instead of the wedding? Happy compromise no?

I think that they're pretty but it's your ultimate decision. If she wants to pay for a second favor then let her. What guest is gonna complain about free stuff?
