My mother wants us to register before our engagement party.

How long does it usually take?

I would say give or take a few hours. We did ours from 7-9:00ish. Any changes you want to make can be done online though, so it's not stressful at all.

I wanted to register at a few different places and my mother was psyched for that too! But then... my FH put his foot down (only allowed 1) and said we needed monetary gifts more than we needed physcial gifts. So, I explained his reasoning to my mother and she agreed. Do what you want. It's your wedding! My mother loves all the planning, but I just need to satisfy her dreams as long as my FH and I come first.

wow thats great!! i havent even registered yet LOL

but i know i want to do BBB and Macys...but it takes so long to go through everything i dont know if i will be able to do it with my FH LOL

He does love the gun though!

lol he might not want the 2nd one! They get tired after the high of choosing the dishes and the glassware, etc, that THEY WANT.

We registered at BBB and got a bunch of things at our e-party. we are def registering somewhere else, as well, for the shower/wedding just to give people options. most of our fam gives $ but its nice to let ppl have the choice. plus anything they dont buy we can buy ourselves for a discounted price if we register for it

yeah options are good!

I think when we get closer we're going to get a honeymoon registry... we have to pick a honeymoon first!
