I love the Cannon D piece but.........

Can the BP and bride walk down the aisle to the same tune or are there 2 different pieces for each. I dont like the wedding march song.

i dont see anything wrong with using the same music for both- they have a version with strings and one without- maybe you can use those 2 so it sounds slightly different?

If you listen to the song, the beginning is kinda slow and then into the song there's this more known faster part with the violins. Maybe you could time it where you'd walk in to this faster part. I don't know if i'm explaining it right... (sorry i was in an orchestra and played this song so many times. I love it too)

I would use the Greek song for you, because it is probably meaningful and special to you.

I wasnt crazy about the Bridal Chorus (the traditional song the bride walks down to)but I found a variation of it I liked on itunes by 'The O'Neill brothers' Check it out on itunes. they do the traditional wedding songs but theyre much milder sounding. Maybe someone can play it like that.

I want to do the same thing. I love that song but I dont know if my girls should walk to something else and then they can play that for me. I have another song in mind to use for the bridal party.

yup your right.....that is what i was originally planning to do. You should think about that. Listen to it and break it down into parts.

hmm...St Catherine has an organ, not sure about St D...definitely speak with the church, or post this to the Greek Brides thread.

There is nothing wrong with using it for both--I am using Canon for just me, and I am going to have them start the very beginning of here comes the bride, so that people know to stand up and have them go right into the cannon
