I love the fact that fh tries!!!

although if i left the planning up to him, he'd plan us right into the poor house!!

i ask him to look for the honeymoon.. he comes back with 6400. i plan the same exact honeymoon for 4900

I send him to look for photographers.. he comes back with 5400.. I find photo and video for 4500..

I send him to look for limos. his limos quotes are 4k.. mine are 1200.




and here's the kicker.. he sees NOTHING WRONG with his quotes!!!


but at least he's involved and excited... right?

at least he's interested! lol.. some grooms just want to show up that day...

lol. i could do with a little less interest.. lol. he's uncontrollable.. he wanted to fly in flowers from brazil... lemme explain.. .. cause it's my favorite color he got these hybrid roses that are grown blue (not dyed blue) flown in for my bday.. our wedding colors were blue and silver and he wanted to fly in enough blue roses to decorate the hall and the church.. i'm like dude.. we do not have a 10k flower budget.. no flying in roses from other countries...


he saw this wedding slideshow done by a photographer in ATL. he wanted to fly him up also.. i'm like i'm pretty sure someone on long island can snap a picture as well as this guy in atlanta..

and did i mention the VIP section? or the dance routine? oh i swear wedding planning with my fh is TRIP!

my fh is the same way....whatever they say is a great price......

I have the complete opposite. Everything I say is 'Okay hunny, whatever you want' Sometimes I scream 'I want you to have a damm opinion about something'

But overall I guess its not that bad, I am getting everything I want.

Your fh is too cute for wanting those things, you are lucky you are a reasonable person, I would have been like 'Okay, lets get the blue flowers and Atlanta photog>'lol

lol. yeah i love him so much.. i just gotta help him help out a little.. i've found three limo companies with reasonable prices.. i'm going to give them all three and let him go visit and pick from those three..

and that is how we will do things from now on.. i will do the leg work..

i'm scared to ask him how bout the dj.. initially he mentioned someone he knew that knew someone who could get us funkmaster flex..

How funny would that be, actually that wouldn't be too funny. I hear you about needing the house more. Thats what my fh keeps telling me. I told him I would lease a cheaper car next year to help for the house and still get all the wedding things I want. He said yeah, $200 a month is really gonna help us out w/ a $3,000 a month mortgage. Oh well I was trying.

Could you imagine if 2 people like me and your fh were getting married. We'd have a sick wedding and then have to live in a cardboard box.

It is so good to have someone that evens you out. Thats why mine and your marriage will work

Too funny. It is hard being a teacher b/c everything comes down to the school, but my fh is a mortgage broker and all he sees is financial things like, taxes, re sell value, blah, blah, blah. I hear it all the time, I just tune it out and figure I might as well wait till after the weding when we really start looking and then we can dis agree about it.lol

oh my goodness u are my equal! my fh is an investment banker. and on the side he invests in real estate. he is CONSTANTLY asking me bout my price points (*** is that anyway? lol) and trying to convince me to buy some foreclosed hud home piece of crap that the only good thing bout it is it has 4 walls.. and how we can fix it up cause it's a good investment..
