I love this dress...

It's a BM dress, but I love it. Our wedding ends early & I thought I'd get this dress to wear after the wedding (we may have something with our friends). Is anyone using this as their BM dress? Do you think I should mak ean appointment to try it on?

Love that dress!

I was told by someone whose sister wore it a wedding that its not flattering if you dont have a body similiar to the model but I never saw it for myself.

One of my BM's tried the dress on - it's a flattering shape...I just wasn't all that impressed with it up-close. The flowers are hand painted but they're also loose pieces of fabric (if that makes sense). It looked unfinished to me.

I believe you can get it w/out the flowers.

That is by Watters & Watters. I really like it too. It does look different in person & is not flattering if you have all different shaped bridesmaids. give it a try, if you love it!

I really love that dress too...but it does look like you need a body just like hers or it probably won't look the same.

Give it a try though...you'll never know unless you try it on.

Good Luck!!!

My sister tried it on, and it looked great! I think the shape is flattering to many body types. We decided against the tea length because my sister is short, and she feels that even after alteratios, where the dress lands on her leg makes her look 'stubby' her word, not mine.

ETA: I didn't think she looked 'stubby' at all, but I'd rather have her comfortable in a long dress than unhappy in a short one.

I agree - it's an A-line or at the very least, a dropped waist, A-line. That's a flattering cut on most anyone. Definetly go see it for yourself and try it on. Watters & Watters has some fabulous t-length dresses!

Re: I love this dress...

Ok, you guys convinced me - I'm making an appointment to try it on! My wedding gown is a drop waist & that flatters me so maybe this will do the same (of course that's a big ol' ballgown so it's a totally different kind of dress). I just want like a nice tea-length dress that's flowy like this one.

Thanks everybody!

Hey I met you. I don't think you'd have a problem with that dress

I have heard a few brides on the Knot say that this was going to be their rehearsal dinner dress. It would also be cute to bring on the HM.

My sister works with weddings at Disney World, and she has seen SOOOOO many girls use this for their rehearsal dinner dress. I think it's a great idea!
