So, I've been having such a hard time with the Post Office (as I'm sure MANY of you can relate to)... The new stamps are 'delayed' and will not be in until June 27th (and that's not even definite) and I want these invites out b/c quite frankly, I'm sick of them being here- I just want them OUT so I can start collecting RSVPs.

So, it was either wait until the 27th (which was a maybe anyway b/c the PO was unsure if they would have them) or go with a 63 cent stamp (I only need 58 for my invites) but all the pictures were crappy-- I mean, no offense but George Washington's head?? I mean, it was that and like the Liberty Bell and, randomly, STAR WARS as the other option!

So, my amazing DOC recommended Zazzle-- I had NO idea!!! They are amazing-- I just ordered custom 58 cent stamps!!! With CHARLOTTE on them!!!!! Adorable! Vinny and I are so happy... and they will arrive in TWO days and I'll be DONE with it all

Problem solved-- I encourage all of you who are having the same invite headaches to just do this!

Thank you so much for the information about the post office not being definite. Its unreal that the post office could delay these stamps! Yours are very cute.

Seriously! Thanks so much for posting this...because I too am waiting like everyone else for these new stamps!!!
I'm going to check out zazzle right now!

i think 2-3 business day shipping was only 4.99 or something!! which is really good-- and they are custom. it was easy to set up too-- i played around with a few different pics before choosing.

I don't think I will ever buy normal stamps again-- I'm just going to get custom ones all the time.

Is it more expensive than a regular stamp?

For us-- because the PO is giving people NO option since they have NO 58 cent stamps lol-- we would have had to buy 63 cent stamps (that are ugly) which is more than covers what we need-- we only need 58 cents to mail it... So, it would have cost about 125 bucks after tax.

For this, with priority shipping, it was $158.92... We didn't take the cheapest shipping b/c I wanted it faster.

So, it was a difference of (with tax and shipping): about 30 bucks... worth it for me! Especially because now I get a nice looking stamp and my invites can go out on time...

And I don't have to play the PO's game of 'will the stamps come in on June 27th??' lol because they said that on June 13th and they never came!

I can't afford to wait

And since no one at the PO knows for sure- I did this.
