To get my other 2 wisdom teeth taken out. Oh how I dread doing this!!!! BUT I dont want them acting up a week before the wedding and need to get them yanked and look like a chipmonk for the wedding!

I had my 4 taken out...in 2 sessions within 2 years...and the nurse the second time told me to get a fribble from friendlys
man was that the best advice anyone has ever given me...
it cools your mouth and its easy to eat and get down...something that you can't really do with food

luckily, my wisdom teeth are coming in nicely.... but let me explain why... when i was younger, i had oral surgery on three separate occasions.... first time they took out 4 teeth, second time they took out 11 teeth, the third time, another 4... you'll be fine...swollen and sore...but fine. besides, you get to have pudding and ice cream and yummy yummies for a week or so!!! good luck!

I already did two and now I have to go back for the other two. I didn't think it was so bad the first time. Just make sure you get all the good drugs!

I did the last 2 about a year ago. It was impacted and infected. Ahhh it felt so good.
NOW its starting to bother me again AND the one on the top isnt growing down its growing toward the front of my face!!! I think that one is going to hurt worse!!

I did all four in one sitting. I had an IV put in me to put me out.
I took a half day on Friday and was back to work on Monday morning.
All four were impacted and one could not be completely removed. Left tooth fragments in.
The recovery was alright but the day after was icky.

I was just telling FH the other day that I am going to call and make an appointment to get one pulled before we get married. It is starting to bother me and I don't want to have any trouble with it on my wedding day or honeymoon!!

Very weird you posted this..I went to the dentist today cause my tooth was really swollen and hurting and he said I need my wisdom tooth REMOVED also I am very nervous but I have to do it before the wedding. I am on antibiotics now for the infection I hope its not that painful.

I got knocked out for mine too. It will be over before you know it and you will be fine.

I had one out the first time and I came out of it laughing and had no pain! The following time I had the other 3 out...I wasnt so happy that time! But I slept for like 2 days and I was fine!
Trust me if feels sooooooo much better afterwards! I was used to be up until 5am chewing on ice pops because it hurt so much!
I got mine out at an oral surgery place in Massapequa and they were really good!

Thanks for the info Kelly. Of course it had to happen so close to the wedding when I have alot to do. I will make time for this though after New Years.
