I made FH feel bad (long, sorry)

I made FH feel bad (long, sorry)

He has to work really late tonight, and tonight we have the appointment to bring everything to WM and go over our ceremony setup with them.
I got really upset with him last night because he wasn't coming. I also went to the our final photographer appointment alone last week, and the he didn't come to the florist to see the sample CP, and i am also going to the florist tonight to give them our final payment and some other things. I got upset because I have had to do these thing without him (my parents came with me for the cp and are coming tonight), and it seems like he has to work late at least 2x a week. I feel like this is the week before his wedding and he should have told them he has things to do, but he didn't.

I also got upset with him last week because he was making faces about the wedding and complaining about this and that about it, and then in the next topic of conversation he gets all excited and tells me that he 'can't wait to have ribs' at this BB Q he was going to, and that made me feel bad because he sounded like he was more excited about the stupid ribs than about the wedding. And I brought this up again in the convo we had last night. I guess just all this stuff got to me.

So to come back to the topic at hand - he calls me a few minutes ago and says he feels like sh*t because he is not coming tonight and is really sorry. So now he feels bad and I feel bad for making such a big deal out of it, when in the scheme of things, it really isn't.

Don't get upset & mad....The week leading up to our wedding, my DH didn't come with me to do the final drop offs & see the CP's! I understood that he needed to work as he was taking over 2 weeks after the wedding...

Know that if your FH could be with you, he would! Enjoy doing the last minute things with your parents

Lauren if FH feels bad that's on him, but you shouldn't feel bad for expressing your feelings. The two of you are about to embark on marriage - you should never have to feel bad or worry about what you are saying to him.

It's completely understandable for you to be upset. If he could be there, he would. If the situation were reversed, I'm sure you would feel the same way. It's a very emotional time in both of your lives so I think neither of you should hold onto feeling bad and instead try to focus on the fact that you will soon be celebrating one of the happiest times in your lives.

Darlene is right. Don't feel bad for expressing yourself! It's better that you came out into the open about this, so he knows your persepective with all of this.

At least FH is coming around - things will work out in the end for the two of you!!! Have faith!

Awe, you were just stating how you feel. I'm the same way, whenever I express myself and hurt my FH's feelings, I feel guilty. Although, I noticed he doesn't have that same guilt thing. He'll be ok, don't worry about it.
