As far as them not hanging out, is this a new relationship? CAuse maybe I could kinda understand that until things cool down a bit it'll even out some.
As far as the dancing, don't drive yourself crazy yet. You'll have things the way you want them, there's plenty of time til then and people tend to not think before they open theirmouths... Why was he even thinking about this?

and the new relationship deal and lying to you about not going out and stuff - i'm sorry. I had a friend like that in HS and it pissed me off so much, I couldn't even take it - we're not friends anymore (but there were also other issues besides her lying to me)....hopefully once the newness of the relationship wears off, they'll want to hang out again...can you talk to her about and let her know how you feel? dont worry about the dancing it is still so far away my sis was stressing this while planning her wedding but they went their seperate ways and everything turned out fine. As for her stealing the book idea I would def be pissed I might even say something when he opens them like that was a good idea I gave you. Good luck!

Sometimes when people get wrapped up in their relationship they tend to forget about others (especially early on in the relationship). Maybe tell her how you feel and that you miss having her around and the way your friendship used to be.
