I mean..

I just looked at my countdown and it went from 60 to 59 days and I had a mini panic attack. Where did the time go!? I remember being like OMG 365 days! now its ridic. So much to do!

I knowwww!! and I love that you said I mean..I say that all the time. I don't have much left to do, just book rehearsal dinner and get grooms gifts. Its going to be here before we know it

haha i say 'i mean...' all day long. it makes my staff nuts. I have to do programs, finish gifts, figure out what to do with my hair. nothing major but enough little things feel like a lot.

It's definitely exciting. We were in pre-cana and they made us say our vows to each other and i was like 'what the eff - this is really going to happen!' and then imagined myself falling on my face during the ceremony.

Ugh, I've felt so on top of things but now that it's so close I feel super behind! Here's where I'm at on various things...
I bought the undergarments for my dress last week, scheduled a fitting for February.
I'm meeting with my venue on Friday to taste a cake and figure out the menu.
I'm still trying to figure out the song lists for the dj, we still need a cake cutting song and songs to walk into the reception too but we gave them the rest already.
I have to make my cardbox
We still need gifts for our groomsmen, ringbearers and FH's parents.
Our wedding bands came in, we're picking them up on Thursday.
We still have to set up another meeting with our officiant.
I think I figured out my program design, just need to give it to my dad to touch up for me and then print them off.
The bridesmaids all picked up their dresses or scheduled fittings. Groomsmen have to have tux measurements in this week.
I have all our favors, just need to put the inserts into the photobooth frames.
I started making a shot list for the photographer.
There's a few other small details I have to work on as well but omg, just looking at this list make me nauseous! Just trying to remind myself to take it one thing at a time. So exciting you'll be getting responses soon!! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing exactly how many we have coming to this thing. It's amazing how quickly the time went.

I made myself a checklist - broken down by month and it gets intense the last two months. Like you said, it's a lot of little things that get overwhelming. I get agita just looking 4-5 months away. June takes up a page on it's own!

FYI your really on top of things when I say I only have to get grooms gifts and book a rehearsal, I wasn't including all the finalizing that you mentioned above...my brain just can't get there yet

alright. i feel better, we are pretty much at the same spot. my first fitting is 2/8. all bridesmaids have dresses and those that need alterations have them scheduled. groomsmen have suits, we are getting their gifts now (shoes, ties, socks). I made my programs - my only DIY project - but we need to pick our readings and readers to finalize them before I try to print everything. We have MOST of our parent gifts but we are also doing albums for christmas so we are trying to not freak out about the RD gifts. Moms are just so much easier to buy for. we have our bands - i need to try to figure out engraving FHs. We do still need a cardbox. And music - i haven't even really thought about it yet. We have to order our cake. favors are done. we need to do signage for the venue. Our menu meeting is like 6 weeks before, so we havent scheduled that yet.

yeah, when i type it out i get a little crazy. haha. hm.
