I messed up my invitations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sooooooo upset... forgot to include DIRECTIONAL CARDS TO THE CHURCH AND CHATEAU BRIAND IN MY INVITES. So now I think I'm gonna send them separately with a note that reads something like:
OPPS!
With all the wedding chaos we forgot to include the directional cards! Sorry for the incovenience! Hope to see you all June 12!

Ugh... what do you girls think?? I feel so stupid and sad!

I like your idea, people will understand and then you won't be speaking to a million people the week of the wedding giving out directions.

Don't feel bad at all! If it makes you feel any better, the woman at Kate's Paperie told us that the 'correct' way is to only send direction cards to those who RSVP yes, and in a separate mailing. See? You're actually doing it right!

Yes, I have received directional cards AFTER I RSVP'd 'yes' with a note that read 'we are excited you will be sharing in our special day... blah, blah, blah.'

It's fine. Don't stress it

I'm pretty sure in the past I didn't get directional cards in my invites. It may be etiquette now, but I wouldnt worry. Everyone knows how to use mapquest etc. Its so easy.

If you want to do a seperate mailings to the yes's I think that's a fine idea too. Try not to worry.

It happens. I think a small note like this is fine. People will totally understand :) No worries!

Don't worry... Thats just a minor screw up compared to my incorrect spelling of my fiance's middle name... I would think common sense would tell you to call me before you started printing out 250 invitations spelling Todd TOD instead if TODD...

No Worries... Small things like that happen to the best of us...

And you could always give out the directions to the hall after church (been to a lot of weddings where they did that instead).

I say play it off as if it was the plan all along. When people RSVP you can sent a note along with the directions telling them how happy you are they they will be sharing in your special day.

You can pull it off without a problem. Just get the moms in on the loop about the directions going after the RSVP date and it'll be fine.
