I met HIM!

I met HIM!

My friend won tickets to meet David Tutera and to go to his wedding seminar at the Arches in Deer Park. He's got a sparkly personality and he gave us some helpful hints and tips for our weddings.

He mentioned for brides that want to use floating candles in a pool or fountain, that you should put fishing line on the candles with tiny weights at the bottom so that they don't float away and cluster in one spot. Now, I just have to find a way on to the show.

His best suggestion was to make your wedding memorable and that doesn't mean spending a lot of money. He said most weddings are cookie cutter and sometimes doing things out of order can make it more memorable for guests. That can include cutting the cake after the first dance or having a smaller cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres before the ceremony.
