Not quite sure yet. Still trying to work out the $$ issue. Would rather be an '09 bride

congrats! remember, the more time you have, the more $$ you can save, the less stress you have = more time and fun for planning! can you imagine how less fun it would be if you got engaged, planned a wedding, and was married in six months? thats so stressful and you miss out on years of Brides magazines, lol. (sorry not trying to offend 6 month planners, i give you props, that's amazing planning!)

sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! the most important thing is making sure you can pay for your wedding, so you don't go into debt over it.

i hope the $$ works out for you!

I SO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!!!
i wanted to be a 08 bride but we are 09. and you realize when you do a budget and saving plan that it's better to wait it out. sometimes it's still annoying but more so because we have so much going on that there was no way 08 was happening. and i'm over excited to start the full planning process.
but i got a great date, excellent place, booked the hall and church and 3 of my friends are getting married between now and the time my wedding comes so it worked out b/c it's a LOT OF MONEY. even just attending the wedding is costly let alone paying for your own.
but you'll do it and it will be great. focus on the end result it made it easier for me - hopefully it will help you.
i have lots of stuff saved if you need help. soon as you get the date try and get the hall so you don't pay 2010 prices. we booked the end of 06 for russos on the bay. THANK GOD we did because the prices alredy went up.
