i might be changing

MY WEDDING DATE!!!!

well i hope Fh agrees... we talked about it last night and he said he doesnt care when we get married he is just so excited to marry the one person he wants to be with for the rest of his life lol

but...we was going to wait until May of 09 a week after I graduate with my masters. But i feel that it will be crazy graduating finishing my thesis (for education) and then getting last minute wedding things done.

we were going to wait until may of 09 cause of school and Fh would be done with the Marines and be able to help plan some things like limos etc that you dont need to do until like 10 months before.

But if we get married Sept 08 (labor day weekend) FH will only have been home from Japan and the Marine Corps for 2 months (he gets home in July) he said he doesnt mind me planning it all but he feels bad putting it all on me.

What do you think...do most of your FH's even really contribute that much to the planning that i should take that into consideration? Also what do you think about switching the date?

I think you should move it up. if he doesnt mind you doing all the planning.

its a great weekend to have it...and it will sooner for you!

FH does not help much in planning ... i usually drag hom to the vendors with me because i have trouble making final descions when it comes to money ... if you have the money and you guys really want to be married sooner i say change the date!!! ... also i'm sure your MOH can help you (i feel its her duty too )

My FH thinks he contributes a lot but not really.... Totally sitch the date!!! I know it's really what you want and would make it easier on you. You have a lot going on in and around May of 09!

Go for it and become an 'official' 08 bride!!

yeah thats what i am thinking...it will be cheaper prob by a little than May and also I still get pretty much the same weather as May (maybe a little cooler)

and it is sooner for me and FH!!!!!!

plus i dont have to hear my mom complain when FH comes home in July and we move in with eachother cause we will be getting married within 2 months!!

YAH Jenn you make me even happier today!! I totally want to change it and hope we can!!! We are going to book RH/church/ video and photo/ DJ this June when he comes home anyway so alot of the big stuff will be done....

i would move it up to. my FH only puts the input in that i want to hear. lol. he wants me to do what makes me happy and what my dream is.

I am sure every FH is like that.

haha we totally should go on our honeymoon at the same time!! that would be fun....

yea i dont know if we are def yet but chris said last night he doesnt care if we have it in the middle of a snow storm he is just so happy we are getting married...so now i just convience him Sept is better than May and I can plan alot while he is gone and he can still contribute when he can...and WOOO HOO it will be in Sept... YAH

No i will make sure we arent on our honeymoon during your wedding!!

move it up!! the prices are deff more afordable at most places in sept/oct as comparred to May!!

and the official 08 would be awesome also

AND it will really give the FH something to get excited about when he is away - to really look forward to as soon as he gets home!!
