I'm a teacher in the NYC public schools and was offered a spot in this training program for mediation skills. It's six Saturdays in March and April. I get paid overtime for it. I really need the money for the wedding (and the training is great to have too...). I told my sister, the MOH, about this training and she sounded a little surprised...and worried! I think that she planned my shower for one of those dates! What should I do?? HELP!!!
well, it's a good thing you told your sister as soon as you found out. I'm sure if your shower is on one of those dates, she can change it.
I agree with Daniela. Its great that you brought it up to her attention now because at least now she can work around it. Im sure she can figure something out...dont worry about it. And congrats on the training..
Dont worry too much about it-they can change it and its a good think you brought it to her attention
