This is the first really nice day I was able to walk down to the beach where I live, and it makes all of those unbearable winter drive worthwhile. I'll attach pics. I'll get a hell of a workout this summer climbing the stairs!

My MOH lives in Mattituck and it is sooo beautiful out east. It is so nice to still see some areas that aren't so populated around here!

I know, it definitely has it's appeal in the less populated factor, but the more I look around, the more I see developments popping up the same as everywhere else

They advertise for our complex as being in Baiting Hollow, but we are way past there. We're actually in Centerville on the North Fork. We live in a new condo community. The unit we live in is up to 400K, but there are ones for less that are only one floor. They are going to go up to 550K and above when the entire complex is done being built. I don't know how much the houses go for. I think pretty cheap, but that's because we're in the Riverhead school district.

Wow! When I first saw you pics I thought we were neighbors- I have a beach down my block with similar CRAZY stairs too!!! (it IS a good workout!!! ) Anyway, here's a pic (from our stairs-hehe) of our beach in Northport...

I live in Riverhead and I grew up in Mattituck... I don't think I could ever live anyplace more populated than this!!! I dont know how you other people do it!

I grew up in East Northport..that pic is beautiful (Northport)...Can I ask if you are on Eatons Neck?

That's too funny We live on a bluff, hence the CRAZY staircase There's always a catch, huh? We live on the beach, but it's way down below
