I am SOOOOOOO nervous for this oral surgery today!! I woke up at 1:30am in a crazy panic because I thought it was time to go...I had bad dreams all night. Now I've got a terrible stomach ache and even though there's nothing in there I'm worried I'm going to throw up.
I have some xanax the doc gave me...I'm going to take it now and hopefully that'll help. I am so worried about the novicane and I'm even more worried about being awake when someone slices into my mouth!!
Girls pleaaaaaaaase send me prayers between 10 and 11am...I just wish it were over so I could be laying on my couch watching TV instead of dreading this.

Aww, Ilana...it will all be over in a few hours, and you'll be camping out on your couch watching Maury read paternity results in no time. Try to eat something decent before you go..even though you're nervous, remember that you might not be able to eat for a few hours afterwards. Plus it'll help the Xanax absorb better.
You'll be okay, and I'll be sendin' you some good vibes this a.m.!

Everything will be ok. I had oral surgery before and it was not pretty with everything they had to do but it is amazing how novacaine really numbs everything. You will not feel a thing.
Make sure you take some motrin/advil before the oral surgery and I'm sure they'll give you some right after.

Everything is going to be fine!!! I wish you could have a glass of wine before your surgery to calm your nerves, but that would be BAD!

Don't be nervous FH is going through the same thing he has to do his next Wednesday. I did it last year and I felt the same and everything turned out fine. Just try to relax. I took 1/2 of 1 of my Xanex pills and it help a lot. It will be over before you know it. It felt like it took 5mins eventhough I was there for over an hour.
