Wanna finish mine??? hahah.

I'm not enjoying this as much as I thought I would. But if I had to do it again, it would be much more fun as I know what to do now. Right now I'm a bit clueless and I'm not being so organized which it's hurting me a bit

I know what you mean. I feel like I have so much time on my hands. I liked the aticipation feeling I had throughout the whole process

i feel the same way...our friends are getting married and i was offended cause i couldn't help.

I think I'll be thankful when it's over too, but who knows, I may end up missing it too!

ugh, I totally am relieved it's over. In fact, I'm still finishing my thank you's, sorting through my proofs I want to blow up, finalizing the video and just wish my life would be back to normal - no more wedding stuff!

I enjoyed it while I did it, but I want my old life back that didn't involve tulle & tiaras and support hose! :)

It is for me! I've never in my LIFE been so happy that something was over. I enjoyed it and am thankful I had the experience but sooooooooooooo glad it's over!!!! I'm getting my life back!

Unfortunately you must all go through the stress and insanity of wedding planning - no matter how much any of us say - don't worry it'll all fall into place - be calm, everything will be OK, don't stress over the color toilet paper in the men's bathroom because no one will notice --- you WILL stress over it and for good reason --- it's your day and you are in charge of planning the biggest event of your life and you want it perfect.
But that day will come and things will go wrong (don't think they won't!) and as long as you go with the flow and reach the other side everyone will be fine!
And either you'll miss it or be happy it's over - either way, I think we're all stronger women for having lived through being a 'bride-to-be!'

Having been through four sisters' weddings (!) and done a lot of the planning and stuff for those, i second the motion. Everything WILL BE OK!

I hope you have some support from friends and family - it makes it so much easier to assign tasks (if you can handle parting with control of allof it...) and when you start checking off those to-do lists, it feels great, and gives you something to do so you don't worry TOO much about the wedding itself (like, 'I'm actually getting MARRIED...' ) Hang in there and try to share as much as you can with your fiance - it will make it better!

i am so jealous and CANNOT wait for this feeling!

I think when it is all over, I will actually miss some of it. But for now, I feel like bashing my head against a wall. Can't wait for that feeling to be over!!!

No. You can't possibly miss this:

FH and I both have very bad colds and are miserable. We had to drop off items at the reception hall and florist today. We had eight large boxes at the florist. There's a service door at the back of the florist, right next to our car. A man is there and I ask if we can use this door. He says no and tells us to walk around the building to the front. So, we start bringing in the boxes. Does anyone at the florist offer to help? NO. Does anyone at the florist say, 'use the back door'? NO. I hate them more everytime I have to deal with them.

Then we get to the reception hall. It's a beautiful spring day and there is not a single flower on the grounds. The grounds are nicer at the shopping center down the block than at my hall! We bring our five boxes into the hall and I'm asked to take out my toasting flutes to prove they're not broken. Had I known this in advance, I would not have put the toasting flutes on the bottom of a sealed box.

Stop at my mom's after the hall. Her aunt calls. She's sick and won't be able to make it to the reception. That makes five cancellations since last weekend when we paid for the reception in full.

Rush home to make an appointment with the day of coordinator. There's a message on the machine that she's going to be 30-45 minutes late. I'm paying this woman to help me; not to waste my time.

Really. Do you miss this???????
